About MoonMUD

MOON MUD is a highly modified Circle MUD 3.0 Beta version with the best aspects of the MOON MUD that has been running on the Local Blue Moon BBS system since May '94.

MoonMUD started out as a Stock CircleMUD and only 34 levels. Since then, MoonMUD has grown into 200 player levels, approximately 100 zones, many many mobs and objects!

The MoonMUD Implementors are constantly adding new spells, skills and zones into this role playing game.

There are many aspects of MOON MUD that make it a great CircleMUD.

  • Friendly Implementors. Unlike some other MUDs, the Implementors of MOON MUD do not play "God". By this, we mean we do not interfere in your enjoyment for our amusement.

  • Many Spells. There are many cools spells in MOON MUD, some unique and some altered.

  • Many Zones, Objects and Intelligent Monsters. MOON MUD has an arsenal of over 300 unique and interesting weapons, along with several magical items and armors. This world is full of intelligent, spell casting, travelling, special, or just plain strange NPCs spread out over zones of FUN!
