The Righteous
"The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry...the
righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles." (Psalm
34:15,17)...When we keep the channels open to God...when we pray...it has to be reassuring
to know His eye is on us...His ear is open to us... Jesus bids us welcome...He intercedes
with our Father...Our prayers are not useless exercises...they are potent...they are
powerful... as the Spirit of the living God directs us...helps us...shows us how to
pray...we are to pray knowing that God has His ear open to us...Put your trust in the
Lord...He will not fail you...but He will give you cause to rejoice...so that your joy may
be full...He hears and answers us...His word tells us to "Call unto me, and I will answer
thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not" (Jeremiah 33:3)...Look
at it and see...We have an open line to God...He is attending to our every need...Jesus
stands before the Father interceding in our behalf...This should really start a rejoicing in
our hearts...Luke 10:19 tells us that God has given us power...over all the power of the
enemy...He has given us power to bind the enemy's power...He has given us the power to loose
God's power on every situation (Matthew 16:19)...We have an open line to God our Father...He
is interested in everything we do and think... He is happy as we confide in Him...and He
wants our joy to overflow... and cause us to rejoice...It is important for us to see God's
hand on our life...and one way to see this is to open your heart to God... communicate with
Him...Pray...talk to Him...and see...answered prayer..actually...changing circumstances...in
your life and for the people you pray for...James 5:16 says, "The effectual fervent prayer
of a righteous man availeth much." Have communion with God...Keep in close touch with
Him...pray in Jesus' name...You will find yourself bearing fruit...living a fruitful
life...a more abundant life...God chose us and ordained us to have a fruitful life...that
whatever we ask of the Father in Jesus' name...He may give us. (John 15:16)
