In 1668, be became an inhabitant of Succonessit (Falmouth). He receivedlands at Woods Hole , Little Harbor in 1677: "to be assigned equally toevery purchaser according to his proportion; beginning at the south endof the Little Neck and running W. by N. to the Great Harbor. Parallel to this were twelve other strips of land, averaging about 7 rods in width, numbered from 1 to 13, all assigned as follows: viz., to Moses Rowley,Sr., Joseph Hull, Thos. Griffin, John Robinson, Sam'l Tilly, NathanielSkiff, Thomas Johnson, William Gifford, Thomas Lewis, John Jenkins, Jonathan Hatch Sr., William Weeks, and Thomas Ewer. "At a meeting of the proprietors of the lands at Suckanesset (Falmouth)March 19 [1700], the proprietors, by vote, made choice of Thomas Lewisto be their clerk. Thomas Lewis was an expert chirographer, a systematicregistrar, and had probably long acted in the capacity which the recordof this last year of the century assigns him." John Bryant was first at Barnstable but soon settled in Scituate wherehe was Deacon in the church, sergeant in the military company, deputy toPlymouth Colony Court in 1657,77 and 78, and also selectman the lattertwo years. By occupation he was a housewright, and he died Nov. 20, 1684.

James born 3 June1664. James died 18 June 1748 at 84 years of age. He married Elizabeth Lothrop November 1698.

Susanna born 1666 married Lazarus Beal 2/18/1690;

Joseph born in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA July 1676. Joseph died 22 August 1767 in Hingham, Plymouth, MA, at 91 years of age. He married twice.He married Elizabeth (Dixon) Vickery 16 July 1618. Elizabeth was born about 1680 in Hull, MA. Elizabeth was the daughter of George Vickery andLucy. Elizabeth died 1 September 1736 in Hingham, Plymouth, MA, at 56 years of age. He married Sarah Marsh 3 February 1703.
