What is Photography? Simply put, photography is the process of capturing an image to film or other media.
But with most simple answers, that answer isn't 100% correct. Photography can be used to capture an image, a thought or even an emotion. Going beyond the simple is what takes us into the realm of art.
The Image is Only the Beginning
The majority of our Images are photographs, We refer to them as Images, because the actual photograph is sometimes only the beginning. Photography was very rarely a matter of pressing a button and having the final image being an exact replica of what image was being captured. The final photo was influenced by film type, type of camera, type of lens, type of filters, lighting (both artificial and natural), exposure options, focus options, chemical choice, paper choice, enlarger choice and once you actually started to print the image, the number of techniques and processes were endless. With Digital Photography, the process has changed, but the end goal, creating an image to convey the photographer's vision, has remained the same.
Rotation of Images.
At the moment, during the site's development phase, There is no set rotation of Images. Beginning December 1st, Images will be rotated on a monthly basis. The number of images available for viewing or purchase will be limited. So keep in mind, if you see a photo you like, it may be gone next month! Each photo is individually numbered and signed.
