Former Edgerton resident, Walter W. Miller, 81, of High Street, Hicksvi lle, died Wednesday in Fountain Manor Nursing Home, Hicksville, where he had been a patient for 2 months. Born April 16, 1894 in Defiance County , the son of Joseph and Ella (Williard) Miller, he spent most of his lif e in Fort Wayne, Ind., area.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. (Rodney) Criswell, Bryan and Mrs. Rob ert (Wayva) Steele, Ann Arbor, Michigan: one son, Vaughn Miller, Edgerto n, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services are schedu led at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Krill Funeral Home here, officiated b y the Rev. Harley J. Martin, pastor of the United Methodist Church. Inte rment is to be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours are to be at 7 p.m., Friday.
